Carrier High Efficiency Upgrade

We removed a 150,000 btu natural draft furnace that was 60% efficient and replaced it with a 80,000 btu 96.6% efficient Carrier. The new furnace puts out almost the some amount of heat, has more air flow, and you can barely hear it run! You can let the blower run on any of three speeds every day. This system will constantly filter, humidify, and dehumidify 365 days a year while using as much electricity as a light bulb!

Replacing a 48 Year Old Furnace:
Before and After

The left side pictures depict the original furnace without air conditioning. This unit was about 50% efficient. This meant that about half or the heat produced from the natural gas it burns goes right up the chimney!

The replacement is about 1/4 its predecessors physical size and almost the same  output. It uses 1/3 the electricity and will cut operating costs by about 50%!

Another High Efficiency Upgrade

We removed a 110,000 btu 60% efficient furnace and installed a 70,000 btu 93% efficient furnace that has two stage heat with a variable speed blower. The old unit had a heat output of about 66,000 btu. The new one has a output of 65,100 btu.

Tank-less Water heater

Tank-less Water Heater

Customers are rapidly becoming interested in the tank-less water heater. With our conventional water heater with storage tank, the heater can run for over on hour to reheat after a long shower. Add a dish washing, visit to the laundry room, and another shower for a spouse or kids and you ran out of hot water during the dishes!

With this unit you can run the hot water all day long and never run out of hot water. This heater delivers 6.3 gallons per minute at 120 degrees. The average shower head demands 1.6 to 2.0 g.p.h. running full hot. Our newest Rheem Pronto delivers up to 7.4 g.p.h. and takes up the space of a medicine cabinet. The addition of this unit enabled the homeowner to make their furnace room smaller.

500.00 Gas Bill!

Before...

... and After

The poor tenant got a gas bill almost as high as the rent! In a 900 square foot apartment! The new owner of the building acted immediately and we removed a 175,000 BTU Beast that was originally installed in 1969! In went a 70,000 BTU unit that was still more than enough.
